My name is Francisco Sousa, I'm from Lisbon, Portugal, and I injured my back (herniated disc L5S1) in 2015. After a successful partial laminectomy/discectomy in 2016 I reinjured it in 2017. For 2.5 years I went to biweekly physiotherapy, with intermittent painkillers, and nothing worked. I was referred to Silaathletic, where I contacted Tony. Went to Vancouver and in 15 days, after following the Complete Low Back Care DVD exercises under his close 1:1 supervision (reverse hypers, upside down crunches, floor crunches, empty squats/hamstring stretches) as well as proper sleeping and sitting positions, I have regained flexibility, can bend my back while standing straight and touch my feet without pain, can sit for longer and sleep with less pain. I am confident that if I keep this regimen up, with healthy diet and supplements, I will remove all pain and eventually return to normal.

I would like to thank Tony Dolezel for helping me overcome a very bad back injury that happened at work on August 2008. The morning after the injury I could hardly get out of bed. It took an hour to get changed so that I could go to the doctor. The doctor gave me pills to take to relieve the back spasms. I was off work for a week. When I went back to work I was also doing physiotherapy with Work Safe BC. I worked as hard as I could during these sessions. I even asked and received an extension on the physiotherapy, but it really did not get me much better. One day I was told about Tony Dolezel. I called Tony and he seemed confident that he could help. I got together with Tony and did his workshop. He showed me what exercises to do and watched over me as I did them. Even from the first time I did those exercises, I could feel a real improvement in my lower back. It's been about seven months now and every week I feel I'm getting better and stronger. Tony is also going to help me with a proper overall exercise program so that I will learn how to exercise all the muscle groups properly.

I would recommend Tony Dolezel's workshop to anyone who has a back injury. Even if you don't have a back injury, his workshop is good preventive measure so that you will not have to go through the pain that I went through.

At first, Tony put me through a very gradual conditioning program. Eventually, I was put on a strengthening program. Tony's training gave me the knowledge to help my boyfriend and other family members and friends.
